Hotel Coral Reef, Kapa'a

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and had a fantastic oceanfront view, complete with a nice jacuzzi tub for some relaxation. The staff were very accommodating, making my experience even more enjoyable. However, the dining options were somewhat limited. The location was fantastic, right by the ocean and within walking distance to town, offering a great base for exploring the island.

The hotel had rooms that were just right for two of us, with two sinks, a larger bathroom, and a quieter location away from the street. However, the room felt small due to oversized furniture and had a view of the parking area. The location was fantastic, offering an oceanfront experience within walking distance to downtown Kapa'a, with easy access to various attractions. The dining experience provided a selection of toast, jam, banana bread, and granola, satisfying our needs. Despite these positives, navigating the main highway during rush hour was challenging, and dining options were limited to healthy snacks only.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms could use a little updating and paint, but the patio facing the ocean just steps away was incredible. The service is exceptional, with kind and helpful staff who even assist in choosing DVDs filmed on Kauai. The location is a central hub for exploring both the north and south shores, with easy access to a 6-mile boardwalk and the beach. While the dining options are limited to early morning quick snacks, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere with a small pool and convenient facilities.
